Freeze leftover fruits as a base for smoothies. Frozen fruits make the smoothie colder and creamier.

When I buy bananas, there are always a few that seam to sit on the couter a little too long.  I now cut up the bruised bananas and freeze the chucnks in individual baggies for future shakes. Leftover Berries also freeze well.  I like to keep bags of frozen blueberries, strawberries and mixed fruit in the freezer for the days when there’s no fresh fruit in the house.
